I don't think it's worth it. I like the idea, but for most users this is more like a toy than a useful product. Also many can't justify paying so much for a full license. I'd 'consider' paying this amount if the program included the Photo Mosaic program as well

by the way, $80 accounts for most of my weekly disability payments. To purchase this at full price I'd have to go hungry for a week.
It's been shown time and time again that selling these types of programs cheaply can actually make more profit than keeping the price at such an elevated level.
Case in point, look at all of the Indie Game bundles. The last humble bundle had over $500 worth of AAA games in the package and could be purchased for less than $6, yet it made millions of dollars. most who purchased those games wouldn't normally have purchased any of them, but because they were sold at an amazingly low price they sold fast and furiously.
There really is no need to keep this sort of software at such inflated prices. Not only does it exclude many from being able to play with it, it also encourages illegal copying. no doubt todays will soon be found on peer to peer sites becasue of it's expensive price tag and because you can use the activation code which is a global code (i.e. everyone has the same code) on the demo provided by the vendor. (This is unfortunate. I hope for the vendoers sake most don't realize this)
